Services

Reiki by Leoda provides complementary wellbeing services, which may include Japanese Usui Reiki, Distance Reiki, massage, magnet therapy and other complementary or holistic treatments described on this website.
The exact nature, duration and price of each service will be explained on the relevant service or booking page.

Booking and Deposits
A £15 non-refundable deposit is required to secure a single-session booking, including Distance Reiki.
For treatment packages, a £50 non-refundable deposit is required.
An appointment is not considered confirmed until the required deposit has been received.
The deposit will be deducted from the final amount payable for the treatment or package.

Payment
Unless otherwise agreed, the remaining balance may be paid:
    ●    by bank transfer at least 24 hours before the appointment; or
    ●    in cash on the day of the appointment.
Current prices are displayed on the website or confirmed at the time of booking.

Rescheduling
I understand that plans sometimes change.
If you need to reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice.
Where more than 48 hours’ notice is provided, your existing deposit

can be transferred to your rescheduled appointment.

Late Cancellations and No-Shows
If you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice, your deposit will be forfeited.
If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, or do not attend your appointment without notice,

the full session fee will be payable.

Late Arrival
If you arrive late, I will do my best to provide as much of your treatment as possible within

the remaining appointment time.
Where another client is booked immediately afterwards, the session may still need to finish

at its originally scheduled time.
The full appointment fee will normally remain payable.

Packages
Where a package of treatments is purchased, any package-specific conditions, including its validity period,

will be communicated at the time of purchase.
Packages are personal to the client and should not be transferred to another person without prior agreement.

Health Information
Before some treatments, you may be asked to provide relevant information about your health, medications,

pregnancy, injuries, allergies or other circumstances that could affect the suitability or safe delivery of a treatment.
Please provide accurate information and tell me about relevant changes before subsequent appointments.
I may decline, adapt or postpone a treatment where I reasonably believe that proceeding would be inappropriate or potentially unsafe.

Complementary Therapy Disclaimer
The services offered by Reiki by Leoda are intended to support relaxation and general wellbeing.
Complementary therapies are not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis or treatment from a suitably qualified healthcare professional.
No particular result or outcome is guaranteed, and no treatment offered by Reiki by Leoda should be

understood as diagnosing, treating or curing a medical or mental health condition.
If you have an existing health condition, persistent or concerning symptoms, are pregnant, have recently

undergone surgery or medical treatment, or are unsure whether a treatment is appropriate for you, please

consult your GP or another appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
You should never stop or change prescribed medication or medical treatment because of information

on this website or something discussed or experienced during a complementary therapy session without

consulting the healthcare professional responsible for your care.

Distance Reiki
Distance Reiki is provided as a complementary wellbeing practice and is subject to the same medical

disclaimer as in-person Reiki.
No medical or therapeutic outcome is guaranteed.

Client Conduct
I aim to provide a safe, respectful and professional environment.
I reserve the right to end or refuse a treatment where a client behaves in an abusive, threatening,

discriminatory, sexually inappropriate or otherwise unacceptable manner.
Where a session is ended because of serious inappropriate behaviour, a refund may not be provided.

Cancellation by Reiki by Leoda
Occasionally, I may need to cancel or reschedule an appointment due to illness, emergency or circumstances

outside my reasonable control.
If this happens, I will offer you a suitable alternative appointment.
If I cancel an appointment and a suitable alternative cannot be arranged, any payment made specifically for that appointment will be refunded.
